GSTC Certification

The Hotel Mirage Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, as of November 7, 2023, is GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) certified: a tangible and global recognition of our ongoing commitment and daily choices to promote sustainability and social responsibility in tourism. We are proud to be one of the few hotels certified according to GSTC standards.

The commitment of Hotel Mirage together with all the hotels of the Best Western group is supported by the scientific partner LifeGate and is developed in two projects.
 

StayPlasticLess
By joining the StayPlasticLess project, the Best Western Network aims to reduce the presence of disposable plastic. A commitment that will affect the amount of plastic waste produced daily and which will therefore have a positive impact on the environment.

Stay PlasticLess completes the Stay for the Planet project, which for years has been an indication of Best Western's commitment to environmental sustainability.

Stay for the Planet

The environment is important to us. This is why we participate in Stay for the Planet, a data hub that supports hospitality facilities in monitoring environmental performance and managing sustainability pathways through the structured collection of quantitative and qualitative data in the following areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Procurement, Behaviours, and People.

Thanks to constant monitoring of consumption, we aim to preserve resources; we rigorously carry out separate waste collection to which we ask you to contribute via the appropriate bins located in the common areas and we raise our guests' awareness of food, energy and water waste.
