The Alla Scala Theatre
The Alla Scala Theatre of Milan is one of the most famous theatres in the world.
It was built by Maria Teresa d'Austria, and was inaugurated 3rd, August 1778. For about 250 years the majestic theatre has dominated the scene as a privileged reference point for lyrical operas, ballets and classical music concerts.
At the end of 2001 season the Alla Scala Theatre of Milan was closed to reorganise radically the structure and the technical instruments of the stage, and the main room underwent a conservative restoration.
In 2005 La Scala has reopened its doors, and has become one of the gravity centres of the beating heart of the city again. |

Degli Arcimboldi Theatre
A ultramodern space where constructive, acoustic and visual elements entwine.
Consisting of a foyer, stage room and tower, the Degli Arcimboldi Theatre has been the first in Italy to be equipped with a multilanguage libretto-display system for each seat with trascriptions in the original language of each opera and ther translations in Italian, English and French.
If you look at the foyer, you will be astonished by the ample glass ceiling and by the balconies appearing under it, while the fan-shaped main room is composed by two stalls and two galleries. The technologically advanced stage tower, 40 meters high, guarantees the maximum functionality of the stage areas and of the grates. |

Zelig Cabaret
Milano, 1986, Naviglio Martesana, numero civico 140 di viale Monza: Zelig metropolitan legend was born.
The little stage of Zelig has been the springboard for Antonio Albanese, Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo, Gioele Dix, Gene Gnocchi, Elio e Le Storie Tese, Dario Vergassola, and so on.
You must attend Zelig to understand what happens there, and attending it was not possible because of the very small capacity of the room.
This was true until 1996, When they decided to get big: Zelig, a milanese reality, becomes a national reality.
A company was created, Bananas s.r.l, which manages the Zelig brand all over Italy.
The room doubled the seating capacity, theatre productions began to take place there, along with the cooperation with Italia 1 for the tv show "Zelig Facciamo cabaret" up to the cult TV show "Zelig Circus" broadcast on Canale 5, which is a program of record audiences and an award winner from both public and critics. |
