In this ample intricacy of streets, among ancient buildings with wonderful internal courts, you can find the signs of the main fashion stylists.

Milan center of economy
The Borsa Italiana (Italian stock exchange), with 225 quoted firms, is situated in Milan, in the beautiful Palazzo Mezzanotte at Piazza Affari. Its main activity consists in organising and manage the Italian market through about 130 national and international intermediaries, other than working on the surveillance of the transactions through Consob and Banca d'Italia.
Milan is the seat of 326.000 business activities, of Italaian and foreign banks and of the Italian Stock Exchange; a citizen’s GDP is equivalent to 10% of the national GDP.
Concerning the bank system, Milan is the seat of the main Italian bank groups (198 institutes) and over 40 foreign banks, it is the fourth city in Europe in terms of capitalization.
